Using Drive offline (with download)

What happens if I download the desktop version of Drive?

Drive allows you to share files with all your devices anywhere that you install Drive; your phone, your desktop computer, your personal laptop etc. Of course, you can do the same with Docs if you log in online, but the difference is that, with Drive, you can now access documents offline too i.e. when you are not connected to the Internet. This means you can work on them, even when offline and when you are connected, they will automatically sync with your online versions.
